At Uplift Oregon, wellness is not limited to any one area, but encompasses healthy habits in areas like physical, mental, financial, and community health. Overall, there are eight pillars of wellness that impact your life, and by gaining knowledge in them, you can improve them. We believe that employees are better off when wellness is a priority, and workplaces are more effective.
We have upcoming workshops, in partnership with Kaiser Permanente, that can provide you knowledge to better care for yourself and others. These workshops are free and available to any state employee whether or not Kaiser Permanente is your provider.

April 2: Why Sleep Matters
Rest prepares the mind and body to deal with life’s everyday challenges. The right amount of sleep can reduce stress and help people feel more productive, healthy, and focused.
March 5: Food and Mood
Food and how you’re feeling are tied together. Your mood can influence what you eat, and what you eat can influence your mood. This workshop will help participants understand the impact of food on our mood and how to manage your mind, body and behaviors.
