Accessibility

Uplift Oregon believes in a better Oregon. This means making sure all Oregonians have equal access to training, information, and resources. As a program of RISE Partnership, Uplift Oregon is grounded in our core organizational values of respect, integrity, service, and equity to show up for everyone to the best of our ability, regardless of the way that they access our services and offerings.

Our team is in the process of updating our website’s code to make sure that it complies with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) published by the World Wide Web Consortium, version 2.1. We’re working to make sure that all parts of our site are available through keyboard navigation and assistive technologies. We’re updating alternative text on images to be more descriptive, evaluating how to make our color schemes have sufficient contrast ratios, and working to make the structure of our site more responsive to screen readers and other assistive technologies.

Check out the log, below, to learn what we’ve done to improve our accessibility recently.

We encourage you to visit the site on the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari browsers, though other browsers should also work. In order for some accessibility features to work, JavaScript and CSS should be enabled. If any part of the site is inaccessible to you, we encourage you to contact us per the information below. Our web team will get back to you as quickly as possible with the information you need, along with our commitment to update our site so others won’t experience the same difficulties you have.
